Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g supported in RHQ project 4.4 yes or no?????????????

Hi,

I try to mange my database with an agent ( RHQ PROJECT 4.4) but I do not know if ORACLE versions 9i, 10g, 11g are supported.

if yes, if yes can you tell me how can we mange  database ?

We just had a community member provide an enhancement to the Oracle plugin - I think he was using 11g but not sure. I'm fairly confident in saying the Oracle plugin can manage 10g and 11g, but I'm not sure about 9i.

The same way you manage all other resources in RHQ. The Oracle management support is provided by a standard RHQ plugin like other managed resources.

(Note: RHQ does not ship with the Oracle JDBC driver out-of-box due to Oracle licensing restrictions - see this for more info on how to get Oracle plugin working).
