Commit Options

Hi,
I have been trying to get my BMP entity bean to reflect changes made by external applications to my DB (mySQL). I have searched the forum and found that it is to do with commit options A, B, C and D. I have found lots of posts telling people which option they should use, but I can't find a definition of the four options. I have searched the manual using the search engine. Can anyone put me out of my misery and point me towards the definitions of A, B, C and D

We need to use commit-option C.

Option C: The container does not cache bean instances and instances memory state is synchronized on every transaction start (via ejbLoad). For business methods executing outside a transaction the synchronization is done too, but as the ejbLoad executes in the same transaction context as the triggering business method, the state must still be considered invalid and might already have changed in the persistent storage when the business method executes.
