message-aware listeners vs invmScope="GLOBAL" for a service

I am working on a service that uses an ftp-listener. I found out that  I will need to add an additional listener that is message aware or mark the service as invmScope="GLOBAL" to allow the message from outside to reach the action pipeline. My question is, what are the pros and cons of the two approaches?

Hi,

By setting invmScope="GLOBAL" the inVM message-aware listener is implicitly registered to a service. So, the pros and cons would be the same as those of other message-aware listeners (jms, file, sql, etc.) vs the inVM listener.
