Mapping of Postgres Booleans

I have an EJB 2 CMP bean with a boolean field (tried boolean snd Boolean) using a Postgres 7 database.

Unfortunately the field is always read as false.

Does anybody have a working set of Jaws parameters for Postgres Booleans?

There's already a PostgreSQL mapping in standardjaws.xml. If the field is always returning false, something must be wrong with you app. Or there is a bug in Jaws.

What datatype do you use on the table ?

The table is autocreated when the Bean is deployed and comes out as type smallint.

Try to use type CHAR. You can either overwrite standardjaws.xml or your application jaws.xml.

Why not use bool?
I mean not to be radical but it is a boolean.
