Default jboss GC algorithm

Hi Community,  We are having outofmemory issues with HEAP and perm/old gen increase after upgrade to Jboss7.1.  My question is, are there any changes in Jboss gc algorithms for 7.1? What is the default GC algorithm Jboss uses?  Any input would be really appreciated.  Thank you,

GC isn't something that's controlled by the application server. It's a Java runtime thing/configuration which will depend on various parameters that you use to start the server.
