1. Re: Cookie name ... is a reserved token / session id
ctomc Aug 14, 2012 8:28 AM (in response to stoppen)Hi,
you probably have instance-id or the name of the server set to master:node1
if it is name of the server, then just change instance-id in web subsytem to something that does not include colon (:)

2. Re: Cookie name ... is a reserved token / session id
stoppen Aug 14, 2012 8:33 AM (in response to ctomc)Hi,
the server name configured in host.xml is "master" and the instance is named "node1", but the ":" (colon) is coming from somewhere else ....
... which is exactly my problem.

3. Re: Cookie name ... is a reserved token / session id
ctomc Aug 14, 2012 8:41 AM (in response to stoppen)then that is is it, name is composed from host's name and server's name that is how you get ":" in it.
just configure web subsystem to have some different instance-id
for example
<subsystem xmlns="urn:jboss:domain:web:... instance-id="node1">

4. Re: Cookie name ... is a reserved token / session id
stoppen Aug 14, 2012 9:42 AM (in response to ctomc)ok,
now i have:
<subsystem xmlns="urn:jboss:domain:web:1.1" default-virtual-server="default-host" instance-id="${jboss.node.name}" ....
but if i change this to fixed name, will the LB (modjk) be able to find back to the right instance?
thanks,
stef

5. Re: Cookie name ... is a reserved token / session id
ctomc Aug 14, 2012 9:54 AM (in response to stoppen)hi,
mod_jk has static configuration when it comes to jvmRoute aka it has to match to whatever you have set in instance-id (or what is auto generated id)
mod_cluster can dynamicly communicate that.

6. Re: Cookie name ... is a reserved token / session id
stoppen Aug 14, 2012 10:17 AM (in response to ctomc)so if i want to use mod_jk this means i'm stuck:
i need jboss.node.name so the right instance is called, which means i get a session id which causes the "reserved token" error ?!?
or do i missunderstand something?
