Why was HA data replication removed in 2.2?

Hi All

I've noticed that HA Data Replication fail over was removed from 2.1 to 2.2. Is there somewhere I can read about the reason behind this change. And decide if I somehow can live with 2.1 until 2.3 is released.

we re worked HA between 2.1 and 2.2 to fix split brain issues, its just replication wasnt finished in time, it will be in 2.3 very shortly, in fact there is already an alpha

Thanks for the quick reply. We are currently using JBoss AS 7.1.1.Final. Do you no if it is possible to replace the embedded HornetQ version with the alpha version? So we can get acquainted with it sooner rather than later. Or do we need to run it as standalone?

You technically, probably could shoe-horn HornetQ 2.3.0.Alpha into AS 7.1.1 but you wouldn't be able to configure any of the new features since the AS 7 messaging subsystem doesn't support them yet.
