1. Re: Is 7.2.0.Alpha1 postphoned?
nickarls Aug 20, 2012 3:34 AM (in response to ybxiang.china)The release dates of the community releases are just esimates, I'm not sure even why they are there since people tend to be upset when the date passes and the deadline "missed".

ybxiang.china Aug 20, 2012 4:16 AM (in response to nickarls)Yes, I am a bit upset: Last weekend, I waited, went to the download page, but did NOT find it.
I am feeling better now after having seen your kind reply.

nickarls Aug 20, 2012 5:34 AM (in response to ybxiang.china)Keep a track of the JIRA. At some point, the 200+ issues will drop to about 30-40 (the rest are slipped to the next release). After that you can try to estimate the release date by looking at the complexities of the issues and resolving speeds ;-)

ybxiang.china Aug 20, 2012 8:57 PM (in response to nickarls)Thank you, sir!
Everyday morning, I go to the roadmap page to check the JIRA status.
I really love JBoss, I have studied and used it over 7 years.

jbertram Aug 20, 2012 10:34 PM (in response to ybxiang.china)It's worth noting that the best way to ensure JBoss AS gets released ASAP is to find a relevant JIRA that interests you submit a high quality patch.

nickarls Dec 12, 2012 2:48 PM (in response to jbertram)I guess development will slow down a bit now for a week and then speed will pick up when the developers notice that the world didn't end on 21 dec and the deadlines are still around
