    Release schedule of 7.1?

    oranheim

      It's been a while since 7.1.1.Final was released to the community. Since then I see that JBoss put their focus on EAP. This morning it was 18 open issues left on 7.1.3.EAP target, hence I suspect this will be relased soon.

      Do you plan for a community release soon? Either that would be 7.1.3.Final (community) togheter with 7.1.3.EAP or a 7.1.4.Final to the community.

      There are hundres of important issues fixed since 7.1.1.Final and the community cannot utilize it, yet. Picking up CI-builds is not an applicable option for most.

          Well the 7.1.2 is tagged and I guess the 7.1.3 will also be (although they are not "official" releases). Just looking at the JIRA, the next community release appear to be in the 7.2-line and even the alpha1 has 200+ open issues so unless we are gifted an intermediate release, 7.2.0.Final is not exactly around the corner. But just guessing here, some redhattian can give you the correct answer...

            Thanks Nicklas! I'm aware of the tagged releases, but I prefer official releases.

            @Redhattians, any update to share?

              Community releases for 7.1.x are finished.  The next community release will be 7.2.0.Alpha1.  Any fixes done on the 7.1.x branch should also be available on 7.2.x.

                Agree.

                I hope 7.2.x can be release before the end of this year.

                Is it possible?
