How do you build jboss-ejb-client 1.0.10.Final

I am trying to rebuild jboss-ejb-client 1.0.10 to debug an issue I am having with jboss as 7.1.2.Final

I cloned the repo then did a checkout 1.0.10.Final

finally I tried mvn compile

[ERROR] Plugin org.jboss.maven.plugins:maven-injection-plugin:1.0.2 or one of its dependencies could not be resolved: 
Failed to read artifact descriptor for org.jboss.maven.plugins:maven-injection-plugin:jar:1.0.2: 
Failure to find org.jboss.maven.plugins:maven-injection-plugin:pom:1.0.2 in http://repo1.maven.org/maven2 was cached in the local repository, 
resolution will not be reattempted until the update interval of central has elapsed or updates are forced -> [Help 1]

You probably need to add the JBoss maven repository at https://repository.jboss.org/nexus/content/groups/public-jboss/ to your maven settings.xml.

Sounds like it is worth a try, let me see if I can figure out how to do that and give it a try.

with the help of https://community.jboss.org/wiki/MavenSettingsExample-Users I got it to work
