    'Session' in web admin console

    jprio

      Hi,

My company is using Oracle Service Bus. The admin console has a very nice feature : you open a session, make yours changes (modify configuration, add new elements,...) and then you commit your session to make your modifications active. Later, you can rollback a session and cancel your modifications.

Do you think such a feature could be developed for AS7 ?

And (let's dream), what if this session could be 'exported' as a jboss-cli batch script so that it can be replayed later (in another stage maybe ?) ?

CLI has a feature for some of that.  Take a look at the batch feature.  I'm not sure if it has exporting to a script, but that wouldn't be hard to implement.

Rollback might be a bit of a challenge.
