1. Re: Business Process Simulation in jBPM Designer
cdsosi Sep 14, 2012 12:49 AM (in response to tsurdilovic)Hi Tihomir,
What a nice feature with number of insteresting charts.
Some questions by the way :
1- What about simulation process it is a kind of light "execution" (may it is not the right term) of process as there is no process data involved if I understand, right? It is simulation of course.
2- What about BPS specification where are the simulation parameters for process saved?
3- Is the example shown available anywhere?
I hope to be able to have time to test that feature soon

2. Re: Business Process Simulation in jBPM Designer
tsurdilovic Sep 14, 2012 10:58 AM (in response to cdsosi)1. Simulation engine replaces tasks with simulated tasks and uses the cost/resource/time simulation parameters on those.
2. BPS spec uses the BPMN2 Relationship element so BPS and BPMN2 are closely related. Currently we store the simulation information inside the process definition but external storage of simulation scenario data is also possible. This is something we are looking at improving (support for multiple simulation scenarios).
3. I will post the simple example used in the video here today.
Thanks for your input!
