        30. Re: jboss 7 ActiveMQ integrationjbertram Aug 5, 2012 8:09 PM (in response to ioneyes)Can you clarify if the changes you had to make to the broker-config.xml, ra.xml, and ActiveMQ RAR were specifically related to their use within JBoss AS 7? If they were, then they will be pertinent for JBoss AS 7 users and should be documented here. However, if your changes were not specifically related to JBoss AS 7 then that information would probably belong in ActiveMQ documentation.

        31. Re: jboss 7 ActiveMQ integrationioneyes Aug 6, 2012 8:45 AM (in response to jbertram)Hi Justin, Yes, the changes to the Active MQ RAR archive are specifically for JBoss. The RAR archive needs modification and the broker-config.xml file also need modification. On further inspection, ra.xml does not appear to need any modification.

        32. Re: jboss 7 ActiveMQ integrationioneyes Aug 7, 2012 9:11 AM (in response to ioneyes)The JBoss to Active MQ Integration document has now been updated. You can find it here : JBoss 6 EAP or 7.x.x to Apache Active MQ 5.6 or 7-v1.1.pdf It now includes most DR and HA options for messaging persistence (Journalling, db (Oracle | MySQL | Kaha)).

        33. Re: jboss 7 ActiveMQ integrationjbertram Aug 7, 2012 12:38 PM (in response to ioneyes)I just read your updated documentation. I'm not sure adding JAR files to the ActiveMQ JCA RAR is absolutely necessary. You can almost certainly package those JARs into a module and set a dependency in the ActiveMQ JCA RA's manifest.mf so that AS7 will make them visible to the RA when it deploys. Since modular classloading is the "right" way to load classes in AS7 I recommend you adopt this approach. The information about changing the ActiveMQ broker configuration does not appear to be specifically related to JBoss AS 7. Furthermore, it appears to repeat a lot of what is already in the ActiveMQ documentation (http://activemq.apache.org/persistence.html).

Now users have the best of both worlds I think I am tinkering here with modules and with success will endeavour to update the PDF.

        36. Re: jboss 7 ActiveMQ integrationioneyes Aug 7, 2012 6:12 PM (in response to ioneyes)JBoss 6 EAP or 7.x.x to Apache Active MQ 5.6 or 7-v1.2.pdf Is now ready with the RAR Archive modifications changed to a JBoss module solution. NOTE : The dependancy on nightly builds for the persistence section has been removed. This document was used to perform all the tasks with both 7.2-Alpha 1 SNAPSHOT and EAP 6.0.0. IronJacamar is a point release newer in the nightly build @ ironjacamar-common-impl-1.0.12.Final.jar

Re: jboss 7 ActiveMQ integrationioneyes Sep 14, 2012 5:53 AM (in response to vamshi.a)Hi there Raghav, Unfortunately the articles have been removed or are maybe being placed in a different section of the site. I am not sure which. There were PDF's and an article by Justin Bertram. Hopefully they will return in due course.

        41. Re: jboss 7 ActiveMQ integrationioneyes Sep 18, 2012 3:27 PM (in response to raghav.raman)Hi Raghav, No problem. Sorry to hear you did not get it working with 6 EAP. It will work with this version. That is the version I am using mostly, though I do have 7-alpha-snapshot too, with the same configuration I am sure.
