Hi,

We have installed an application that it works with JBoss.

Outside the Jboss server if I ask for http://172.22.2.32:8080/itm/ is deployed right, but we need ask for http://sremedy_itbm:8080/itm and is not deployed right.

I guess has to be some property relationed with Jboss and DNS, jndi. I have no experience so much in Jboss configurations.

I suppose that is more a network issue.

Are you able to ping the sremedy_itbm from outside?

Also you should provide the JBoss version and how do you start the instance.

Yes i am able to ping outside.

The Jboss version is 5.1. This version is needed for the aplication that I have to deploy.

And I start the instance  Run.bat –b 0.0.0.0 –c production

If you start a browser at the local machine would it work with both URLs?

What you see as result in a external browser?

Are you able to access x:8080 alone?

Does the ping <name> shows the correct IP?

I can ping the ip and the url (srmedy-itbm) both internal and external ms-dos cmd.

From Internal browser I can access with the ip:8080 address but not with the url:8080 address.

And from external browser I can access with the ip:8080 address but not with the url:8080 address
