For the next version of one of our products we want to use JBoss rather than the better left unnamed language and technology it's in now. There are a couple of issues around the database, though. Right now we use SQL Server 2000 and the XML guy is addicted to its automatic XML generation abilities.
Is anyone successfully using JBoss with SQL Server's XML generation? Is there any place that will host a JBoss / SQL Server open source / evil empire bastard child? Or is there another database that can provide the automatic XML that the XML guy is addicted to instead of using Microsoft's?
