    Jboss 6.0.0.Final - JVM crash

    freestila

      Hi,

unfortunately the following question is a pretty "general one" and we (currently) do not have specific details. Sorry in advance.

We are using JBoss 6.0.0.Final on a Windows Server.

Within the last days the JBoss server process has crashed several times.

Not even a java core file is written. The only thing which is available is a mdmp file which

seems not to be a big help.

Since our application is dealing with lots of memory, we suspect it to be some kind of memory problem.

No, there is no OutOfMemoryException within the log files .... ;-)

Within the log files there is absolutely no clue on the kind of crash. The last entry is a "normal" System.out written

      by our application.

And no, there is no (obvious) relationship between the kind of work the application is currently dealing with and the crash.

Has anyone encountered similar 'mysterious' crashs of the JVM?

Has anyone any idea on how to narrow down the problem.

Thanks in advance for any help.

      Best regards

      Helge
