CMP fields is null after half an hour after creation

I have deployed my application on JBoss3.0alpha without specifying anything about the database. Just using the standard settings. This works fine until about half an hour after the beans have been created. Then when I retrieve the bean again, the fields are null.

Is the bean saved, or only cached?

Have try to check the transaction attribute on your bean. I know that for JBoss 2.x.x, you must specified the transcation attribute otherwise nothing gets in the database.

Well I did add all the methods of my beans in the ejb-jar.xml file in the assembly descriptor and set the trans-attribute to "Required".

Well the problem is solved...

I forgot to write in some cmp fields in the ejb-jar.xml file. I did'nt realize that since JBoss did cache the data for half an hour.
