1. Re: component to map a date variable in a process.
tsurdilovic Oct 6, 2012 12:18 PM (in response to keymaker19)You could probably be more specific, but ontop of my head now it would make sense to treat you process vars describing dates as type long cause then you can do your conversions to Date objects on both the Java side (your fact model, script expressions, etc) as well as your web-form side (via Javascript for example)
Hope this helps.

melc Oct 19, 2012 6:30 AM (in response to keymaker19)Hi,
how about http://jqueryui.com/datepicker
then on submit or on some other event you can retrieve the long value, as Tihomir mentioned, of the js Date object held by the datepicker and populate the form field of your variable in order to pass it to your process.

4. Re: component to map a date variable in a process.
tsurdilovic Oct 19, 2012 9:15 AM (in response to melc)Yes, that would definitely be an option. Look at this post and video that should help - http://surdilovic.wordpress.com/2012/08/06/process-and-task-form-editing-in-jbpm-designer/. The form widgets support for form creation in jBPM Designer should help. The ability to create your custom widgets is also I believe more powerful than having a visual form builder where you might be limited to the number of objects you can use and the technology a form builder may have support for.
