Using the non-default DB for CMP

    123456

I am very new to CMP, and try to figure out how to configure a selected DB for CMP. I need to set up the datasource and the type-mapping tags in the jws.xml. I know I also need to configure the jndi for the url of the jdbc driver, user-name, and user-password. My question is how/where to have these setup. According to the online document, the setup is done in JMX MLet (http://www.jboss.org/online-manual/HTML/ch06s02.html). However, I can't find any related information in the chapter 3. Another problem is the document is for 3.x and I am working on 2.4.x.

      Thank for your help.

no mlet stuff necessary. Look in jboss.jcml for the XADataSourceLoader mbean config.

If your time is worth more than $0.10/hr;-) you will probably come out ahead by buying the $$ documentation for 2.4 where all this is explained more thoroughly and completely than you will get in posts on this forum.

            Thanks David for your information.

I later found a very brief regarding statement in the later portion of the same online document.

I guess the online version is a outline of the $10 version.
