The Record has not been stored in the mysql table??? Why????

Hi all,

I created a CMP Entity Bean, but it didn't work on JBOSS 2.4.4 + MySQL (mysql Ver 11.6 Distrib 3.23.28-gamma, for pc-linux-gnu (i686)).

I have 8 records in the table, these records have the
following Primary Keys (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8).
I did a method to get the max value of the primary key
and it generates the next. In this case the next is 9, 10
and further...

When I try to execute the code it gets te next value and
create the Entity Bean, but the data is not stored in
the database. Who knows why????

When I try to execute te code again, as I say firstly,
the data is not stored, so it gets the same primary
key for the next Entity Bean, in this case the error
generated is:

Anyone knows how I can solve this problem????
I need to create te Entity Bean and store the data!!!

My Entity Bean is Container Managed!!!!

JBoss caches entity beans in the default commit option, Rodrigo. So it only updates entities once in a while. If you really need them to be imediatelly updated, you need to change the commit option. Take a look at the documentation here: http://www.jboss.org/online-manual/HTML/ch07s16.html

Rodrigo, o JBoss faz cache interno dos beans na configuração padrão. Nem sempre depois de criado um bean é imediatamente persistido no banco de dados, só quando o JBoss julgar que é conveniente ou necessário. Dê uma olhada no link acima para saber como mudar isso. Procure pelo opção <commit-option>.
