1. Re: SSL with Windows Keystore
johno2518 Oct 18, 2012 9:06 PM (in response to johno2518)I have also set the Java options to -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStoreProvider=SunMSCAPI -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStoreType=Windows-ROOT -Djavax.net.ssl.keyStoreProvider=SunMSCAPI -Djavax.net.ssl.keyStoreType=Windows-MY
Nothing seems to work, JBoss still tries to use the JKS keystore. Is there no one that can help?
We are using JRE 1.6 Update 37 32-bit and JBoss 4.2.3.GA.

johno2518 Oct 25, 2012 5:36 PM (in response to erasmomarciano)Hi,
That's not what i was asking. I was asking to use the Windows Keystore. This does not require the JKS store which JBoss keeps asking for when i try and configure it to use the Windows Keystore.
Does no one know how to configure this?

4. Re: SSL with Windows Keystore
mataratones Nov 26, 2012 4:15 PM (in response to johno2518)Maybe it's not possible?
http://docs.jboss.org/jbossweb/3.0.x/ssl-howto.html says that "JBoss Web currently operates only on
JKS
,PKCS11
orPKCS12
format keystores." I don't know if Windows-MY is a keyStoreType. -
5. Re: SSL with Windows Keystore
johno2518 Nov 26, 2012 4:29 PM (in response to mataratones)Java supports it, and JBoss is supposed to be a Java Web Application server is it not? I mean it supports SSL so why not support the full capabilities of Java.
It is possible, but no one here can definitively tell me if JBoss does and which version its supported under.
