    new HornetQ book

    pgiacome

      Dear friends,

after several months of hard work, I am proud to announce that my book has gone officially printed!

      http://www.packtpub.com/hornetq-messaging-developers-guide/book

The book will be officially released at the end of October 2012, but for the true connoisseur the preorder is a must have feature.

We are really eager to receive your feedback and suggestions, please feel free to ping me with your comments!

If we could meet by person I will be happy to sign a copy so in the event of my premature demise you could sell it on Ebay.

      Cheers!

Any chance you could talk to Packt in sending us a copy so we could review it, and submit a review?

I have bought the book myself.. and I'm quite surprised with the result.

I'm a geek guy, and I enjoy reading technical books, and this one is quite a nice experience. Really good job on organizing it.

I'm really it wasn't written by one of us. We would focus a lot more on the implementation details what would make the reading experience worse.

We need to add a link to the hornetq.org...

I can write a review about the book if you like.

BTW: I tried to tweet you and your user is suspended??

                          Dear Clebert,

thanks for the kind words. You have much more experience in Java programming than I have, so I am very happy for my little contribution to the HornetQ, that I found amazing.

Now that I have the hardcopy, I found some typos and some inaccurancies, so any review or any help is very appreciate on this direction.

So if you would like to review it on the Amazon website that would be great.

If you would like to add a link to the project homepage that would be an honor for me.

In any case thanks again for you positive impression that I appreciated so much and repay me for the difficulties during the writing stage.

                          Piero

P.S.S: I think that I need now sto start going deeper into the source code so I will try to check out the latest version and start studing it better
