External Authentication and Authorization

We have dedicated Stand Alone Server (infinispan 5.1.6) and we are accessing  from Client using remote cache.

Is there a way wherein I could have a RemoteCache which requires a username and  password to access/modify it (default Authentication and authorization in infinispan)

if not , Is  possible to external way to provide Authentication and authorization from Client Program.
