1. Re: How to differentiate between human task types
swiderski.maciej Nov 23, 2012 2:26 AM (in response to snowstormuser)simple approach would be to rely on task name that is available without getting access to content data e.g. taskSummary.getName()

2. Re: How to differentiate between human task types
snowstormuser Nov 23, 2012 4:09 AM (in response to swiderski.maciej)Thanks for reply , your answer is is correct but in my scenario it is little different ‘Review Human Task’, ‘Approve Human Task’ these are my task type not a task name
e.g.
- 'Task 1' is of Review Human Task type.
- 'Task 2' is of Approve Human Task type.
- 'Task 1' and 'Task 2' are my task name.
- How to get task types of 'Task 1' and 'Task 2' which are specified above in points 1 and 2.

thomas.setiabudi Nov 25, 2012 9:16 PM (in response to snowstormuser)Hi,
Have you found any solution for this?
I have similar requirement which is to add an indicator to the human task in order to define the task type.
https://community.jboss.org/thread/213298?tstart=60
The solution by Maciej there is to use a task input variable.
Have not tried it though... maybe you can use this approach too for your human task type?

swiderski.maciej Nov 26, 2012 1:39 AM (in response to snowstormuser)what you mean by task type? Do you have different work item definitions for them?

5. Re: How to differentiate between human task types
snowstormuser Nov 26, 2012 11:40 PM (in response to swiderski.maciej)Thanks Maciej Swiderski for reply,I have not created any work item for them I use " Human Task" work item.Even if I create them, task server gives TaskSummary which doesnot contain information about the human task and its work items.

6. Re: How to differentiate between human task types
swiderski.maciej Nov 28, 2012 1:39 AM (in response to snowstormuser)it should give you work item id which could be used to look up the definition. However that's just an idea that could not be applicable for your scenario.
Any way, could you provide an example of process you use for this so we could take a closer look at it and maybe suggest some other approach.
