1. Re: how to disable RF 3.3 support in jboss tool?
maxandersen Nov 23, 2012 10:03 AM (in response to liuliu)Not unless you change each pages taglib reference(s) so the pages becomes invalid.
Good idea though

3. Re: how to disable RF 3.3 support in jboss tool?
lfryc Nov 26, 2012 5:24 AM (in response to liuliu)Hey liumin,
if you include just RF4 jars (which includes taglibs which JBoss Tools (afaik) validates project against),
then you should get validation errors for using wrong tags.
However JBoss Tools doesn't validate tag's attributes against taglib.
In fact, it can't since you can use whatever attribute you want and JSF is able to process it.
I agree that JBoss Tools could optionally validate against taglib attributes (this feature could be turn on when it causes problems).

liuliu Nov 26, 2012 6:31 AM (in response to lfryc)hi,
thanks for your reply.
I replaced the RF 3.3 with RF4 in my project, but no error in the xhtml file. Should i enable something somewhere, or in a special perspective? I use all default conf of jboss tool.

5. Re: how to disable RF 3.3 support in jboss tool?
lfryc Nov 26, 2012 8:10 AM (in response to liuliu)Note that incompliance with taglib raises warning, not errors.
Make sure you open a file with: Open With > JBoss Tools HTML Editor from inside of Project Explorer.
I assume the project needs to have JavaServer Faces 2.0 facet add (Preferences > Project Facets)

liuliu Nov 26, 2012 9:25 AM (in response to lfryc)hi,
the file is opened in jboss tools html editor. If I type something like <ab:cd/>, i get a warning, if i type <a4j:blabla />, it is not suggested by editor, but there is not warning neither.
