Why does HornetQ create so many threads when the server is not doing any thing

Hi,

Environemnt : I have community version of jboss 7.1 which has a patch to fix a memory leak issue reported in jboss forums.

I am observing that hornetq threads are more than 200 whereas the server is idle. Question is why does hornetq even need so many threads ?

There's a thread pool that you can configure.
