BASIC Authentication in AS7 no roles

Hello everyone,

I am trying to test a migrated application, I wanted to set up basic authentication to test it, the problem is I do not want any roles and I am having a bit of trouble disabling them. If I configure a made up role I can loggin succesfully but if I delete any paramaters role related then I can access the application but the window asking for the username and password does not appear. Is it possible to configure a login that just ask for username and password but completely ignores roles? All the examples out there seem to have roles in them so I'm not sure...

I tried that option and it lets everyone in, but I'm not really sure about how it works. It let everyone in regardless of the role, but because it configures a role that admits everyone?, it configures the app to ignore roles? Right now I'm configuring the app with this to test it, but the authentication we really use is a ldap without roles so I want to make it as close as possible....
