RHQ agent unable to discover JBoss 4 instances

    sniklas

I have an issue with a new setup RHQ infrastructure for some of our test systems.

We have co-located a variety of JBoss4 application servers which are separated by different port prefixes. During startup each JBoss fetches its ports with HTTP from a centralized management portal.

2012-12-04 16:28:25,092 WARN  [ResourceDiscoveryComponent.invoker.daemon-3] (rhq.plugins.jbossas.util.JnpConfig)- Binding 'StoreURL' attribute has invalid value (http://mgmt.portal/jboss.php?service=appid) in JBossAS config file /opt/appsrv/appid/server/default/conf/jboss-service.xml - the value should be a file URL or file path.

For some reason the rhq-agent isn't able to discover the JBoss instances because of the http-URL. Any idea how to fix that?
