chandrup Dec 6, 2012 1:37 AM (in response to nickarls)There is no ROOT.war, did you mean portal-web.war, tunnel-web.war ( see the above project structure)

nickarls Dec 6, 2012 11:07 AM (in response to chandrup)Yes, it appears to be in the portal-web.war. Altough it sounds a bit strange that you would have to make that inclusion if that API is really meant to be used like that.

chandrup Dec 6, 2012 10:50 PM (in response to nickarls)Should I add the portal-ejb.jar under portal-web.war/WEB-INF/lib? how to include that API, do you mean in jboss-deployment-descriptor.xml under sub-deployments of portal-web.war?

5. Re: How to resolve dependencies issue, exceptions using the tattletale report
nickarls Dec 7, 2012 1:32 AM (in response to chandrup)The relative complexity of adding the dependency probably makes it worth heading over to the liferay forum and tell them what you're trying to do and what is the best way to handle the depdendency. But yes, in normal cases you would either add the jar to the application or create a module out of it and add a dependecy to it.
