1. Re: JBoss-3 beta / which jbosscmp-jdbc version?
pazu Apr 13, 2002 11:49 PM (in response to axelm)Not JBoss, but YOU are using an old version of the DTD. Please note that the DTD has changed for beta2.
For your example, it should be written like this:
[pre]
<load-groups>
<load-group>
<load-group-name>main</load-group-name>
<field-name>userName</field-name>
</load-group>
<load-group>
<load-group-name>email options</load-group-name>
<field-name>email</field-name>
<field-name>sendSpam</field-name>
</load-group>
</load-groups>
<eager-load-group>main</eager-load-group>
<lazy-load-group>
<load-group-name>email options</load-group-name>
</lazy-load-group>
[/pre]
I hope that helps. -
2. Re: JBoss-3 beta / which jbosscmp-jdbc version?
axelm Apr 14, 2002 12:46 AM (in response to axelm)Well, then I'm not quite sure that I use Jboss3 Beta2.
How does one identify JBoss3.0.0 Beta2 ?
Thanks. -
3. Re: JBoss-3 beta / which jbosscmp-jdbc version?
pazu Apr 14, 2002 12:59 AM (in response to axelm)I'm not sure if the new DTD was introduced in beta2. Perhaps it was introduced on beta1. The errors you posted here show that the version you have already uses the new DTD. Anyway, you can get JBoss version on the JMX HTML view. Or after starting it, the last message shown should contain the version number and build date, like this:
[Server] JBoss (MX MicroKernel) [3.0.0beta2 Date:200203151608] Started in 1m:22s:880ms -
4. Re: JBoss-3 beta / which jbosscmp-jdbc version?
jfifield Apr 14, 2002 8:53 AM (in response to axelm)Note the jbosscmp-jdbc_3_0.dtd at http://www.jboss.org/j2ee/dtd/ is out of date. Make sure to get the latest from CVS in jboss/src/resources/org/jboss/metadata/.

5. Re: JBoss-3 beta / which jbosscmp-jdbc version?
axelm Apr 14, 2002 12:17 PM (in response to axelm)Ok, so the version I'm using looks more like Beta1 then. JBoss (MX MicroKernel) [3.0.0beta Date:200202210220]
Where can I get Beta2 ? -
6. Re: JBoss-3 beta / which jbosscmp-jdbc version?
mkotsbak Apr 14, 2002 2:14 PM (in response to axelm)from sourceforge.net, or try the latest from CVS, which I think is better.

7. Re: JBoss-3 beta / which jbosscmp-jdbc version?
axelm Apr 14, 2002 6:26 PM (in response to axelm)What is the exact link to the Beta2 binary download please?
I searched on sourceforge.net and I found only http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/jboss/binaries/. -
8. Re: JBoss-3 beta / which jbosscmp-jdbc version?
mkotsbak Apr 14, 2002 6:35 PM (in response to axelm)Couldn't find it there. Just download the cvs version:
http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=22866 modulename is jboss-all. You might get the beta2 with the proper tag: co -d Rel_3_0_0_4 jboss-all is the latest tag I think. Beta2 might be this or 3_0_0_3. -
9. Re: JBoss-3 beta / which jbosscmp-jdbc version?
jfifield Apr 14, 2002 6:36 PM (in response to axelm)AFAIK the latest binaries are beta1, and beta2 is currently the latest in CVS. To get beta2 you'd have to check it out and build it yourself.
When binaries releases are made available, they are accessible from the files section of the sourceforge project page at http://sourceforge.net/projects/jboss.
