is jaws.xml needed with JBoss3.0/CMP2.0 ?

well, the question is in the subject ...
does the jaws.xml file is needed with JBoss3.0 binary download while deploying CMP2.0 EJB ?

if not, what are the tags to add in the jbosscmp-jdbc.xml in order to archieve the bean <-> database mapping and the methods ?

jaws.xml is replaced by jbosscmp-jdbc.xml with cmp2. Usually cmp2 will do a good job by itself if you let it create the tables. Otherwise, consult the dtd and buy the cmp2 docs (which I think Dain is about to update to match the latest dtd)
