Deploy postgres service on RC1 has a problem.

I deploy a postgres-service.xml for PostgresDB on RC1 has the following error message in server.log and deploy failed. The postgres-service.xml worked fine with 3.0alpha. Is there any issue on class or package name change on RC1?

If you are using jboss 3.0 rc1, please see http://main.jboss.org/forums/thread.jsp?forum=67&thread=13366

Note that the location of example files has changed from location indicated in the online manual for previous jboss versions.

If this does not help, check your startup log for messages, and jndiview to see what is actually bound, and post with more information.

the configuration file from the CVS for RC1 does not have a place to specify the port. we're running on a non-default port and adding a :xxxx (port number) to the connection string does not work.

Also, im skeptical of the connection string, right nots its jdbc:postgresql:hostname usualy the connection string in jdbc:postgresql://hostname:port. Could someone please clarify this for postgresql?? many thanks.

I found that on source forg that there are several versions of the postgresql-service.xml file

V1.5 of the postgresql-service.xml works with RC2 but Not RC1.

I worked backwards through the versions and found that
V1.3 of the postgresql-service.xml works wir RC1
