gatein 3.5 and openam help

Hi,

I am newbie and trying to setup openam and gatein by using this guide https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/GTNPORTAL35/OpenAM.

My setup is openam on tomcat 7 using SSL and gatein 3.5 on jboss as7 on port 8080. Already try it for couple of days but still no success.

Got authentication failed if using default user in gatein example username:root password:gtn. Grateful if someone could point me to the right direction.

Did you try without configuring SSL on tomcat 7? What is the exception that you get exactly? I personnaly tried with openAM 10.0.1 on tomcat 7 without SSL and gatein 3.5 on jboss as 7, I could make it work following the guide that you mention. If I configure SSL, it fails because my certifcate is untrusted which sounds normal but it prevents me to have the exact same environment as yours.
