1. Re: JBOSS 3.0RC1 an PostgreSQL
svevor May 5, 2002 8:33 AM (in response to matt_hannay)I am using JbossRC2 and Postgresql 7.2
For configuration you need to edit files: postgres-service.xml(can find it in /jboss_root/docs/examples/jca) In this file you will find instraction how to edit login-config.xml. In standardjaw.xml change at the top from
"Hypersonic SQL" to PostgresDS.
In standardjbosscmp-jdbc.xml the same as above.
I keep postgresql.jar(jdbc driver) under deploy dir.
And dont't forget to upgrade to jboss3RC2. Some my
staff was't work under 3RC1 but now works under 3RC2. -
2. Re: JBOSS 3.0RC1 an PostgreSQL
matt_hannay May 5, 2002 10:33 PM (in response to matt_hannay)I was using version 1.5 of the postgresql-service.xml
I decided to try an earlier version as the diferences are
huge. On using version 1.3 postgresql-service.xml file
I manage to get it working!!
Is this a diference between 3.0RC1 and 3.0RC2 -
3. Re: JBOSS 3.0RC1 an PostgreSQL
davidjencks May 6, 2002 1:21 AM (in response to matt_hannay)Yes there are giant differences between rc1 and rc2 in the jca support. Please use rc2 or later. I no longer answer questions about rc1.
