jBPM 5.4 simultaneous connection problem

Hi,

I'm using a jBPM instance with H2 database.

Everything is working fine.

but while the jbpm-console is up, when i try to connect to H2 database using 'H2 Console'.

i encountered the following error, Database may be already in use "Locked by another process"

I have attached the same error screen.

Is there any workaround for this.

as the demo setup uses file based H2 data base that has restrictions to allow only single process to access the data base thus you see this error. To overcome this either use "real" data base (like mysql, postgresql, etc) or reconfigure H2 to ran as a server.
