A question about log4j in jboss.

hi,

recently, i switch from tomcat to jboss As. I want to use my own log4j.properties for my web application. what i found is this article http://www.jboss.org/community/wiki/Log4jrepositoryselector . Is it the only way to do this?

Actually, i am using PropertyConfigurator.configure in a initservlet to initialise the logger. And it works.

Someone can tell me is there a problem to use log like this way?

i am using jboss 4.2.2.

I have read the post mentioned in your reply. the different is i load the properties file manually. So there is no problem with jboss to use log4j this way?
