Jboss Support for Centura SQLBase Database

Specs:
JBoss_2.4.3-Tomcat_3.2.3
Centura(Gupta) SQLBase database
Centura JDBC Level 4 Driver

Does JBoss support Entity Beans using a Centura SQLBase database?

I am able to connect to the database, but none of my Finders work, and JBoss cannot retrieve beans. However, I can acquire my own Connection and perform SELECT statements against the data source without a problem.

If I switch to an Oracle JDBC driver/database, JBoss works fine.

JAWS (CMP in 2.4.x) support any JDBC driver although you will have to create a mapping for the database. If you do create a mapping please post a patch at source forge so no one else will have to do it.

Just a watch out for you... Centura's jdbc driver has been very bad with a couple of bugs in them. I've not tried it for 3-4 years but i do think it is the same one they are still offering. I might find some old documents about it if you encounter the same bugs...
