Unable form cluster group between JBoss and Tomcat using JGroup

Hi,

I am using Tomcat and JBOSS as Application Server for two different applications and  they communicate using the JGroup.

Tomcat -> Act as Receiver.

JBOSS -> Sender and Receiver.

When i deploy both application on TWO Separate instances of  JBOSS.Both able to receive and send event.

But when i deploy one application on Tomcat it doesn't able to Join the cluster group. It create new group.(As i set cluster name same in both App)

Do i need to some extra setting in Tomcat container ?

The tomcat clustering is not compatible with JGroup.

I haven't enable the tomcat/jboss cluster yet. I have setup the non-cluster environment for testing.

I also tested Event notification by using 2 tomcat and it's working fine.

Issue is that when we try to test application with different container i.e one JBOSS and other TOMCAT. the event notification works doen't work

Note : For event notification we are using JGroup.
