BAM capabilities in RiftSaw

Hi All,

Does the latest release of  Riftsaw BPEL component of JBoss support BAM integration,

and if it does can some one throw some light on how to acheive that.

Firstly - I moved this question from the Riftsaw Development forum to this forum, as the Development forum is intended for discussions between committers to the project on development issues. User questions should be directed to this forum.

By latest version, I assume you mean version 3 which forms the BPEL component of the SwitchYard ESB. If so, then there is a new sub-project of the Overlord governance project that will be providing BAM capabilities for SwitchYard, which will include any BPEL services deployed to SwitchYard.

The project is located here: http://www.jboss.org/overlord - see the Business Activity Monitoring sub-menu under Documentation and Downloads.

The current release of the BAM sub-component is 1.0.0.M3, and does not yet monitor BPEL processes (only Java bean services), but monitoring of BPEL and BPMN2 business processes are planned for M4.

Would suggest you take a look at the features it provides, and ask further questions on the Overlord user forum: https://community.jboss.org/en/overlord?view=all - there are also some webcasts posted on this forum (see Demo: ....) that will show some of the functionality.

Also feel free to raise feature requests on the jira for the BAM project: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/BAM

Hi Gary,

Thanks a lot for responding to my question.

However I have another question for the community, would be great if you could find time to answer this.

As i was evauluation JBOSS SOA platform for a customer who is primarily asking for reports and monitoring in the form of BAM, does JBoss provide a production ready BAM support across all components including Services, BPEL, BPM?
