1. Re: Can JBoss 7.x be deployed on Windows Server 2012?
jamezp Jan 9, 2013 2:05 PM (in response to eller58)As long as you have Java installed, it should work.

2. Re: Can JBoss 7.x be deployed on Windows Server 2012?
eller58 Jan 28, 2013 4:40 PM (in response to jamezp)"Work" is subjective... seems to work from local host (changed management and public interfaces to bind to internal lab network addresses), and also from another virtual server (JBoss running on virtual Server 2012 under Hyper-V), but can't get to it from any remote host. I realize that this is really most likely a MS/Hyper-V configuration issue, but thought perhaps someone has run into this already.
Thanks in advance - Tom

jamezp Jan 28, 2013 4:47 PM (in response to eller58)1 of 1 people found this helpfulDo you have the firewall open to ports 8080 and 9999 (could be 9990 can't remember now)? Note too you can start it with -b 0.0.0.0 to listen on all interfaces for testing.

4. Re: Can JBoss 7.x be deployed on Windows Server 2012?
bilal_s Jan 31, 2013 10:00 AM (in response to eller58)Not sure this helps.
I created a screencast showing how to deploy JBoss 7.1.1 on Windows 8.
I used IIS as the front end webserver and did not have any issues with Windows 8 or 2012.
