1. Re: HTTP Status 404 when browses jboss-as-helloworld/HelloWorld on webpage
jamezp Jan 28, 2013 2:59 PM (in response to aquadrehz)I don't know a lot about JBoss Tools or JBoss Developer Studio. It does look like the application has been deployed, but not enabled/started. If you right-click on the deployment in JBoss Developer Studio, are there any enable type of options?

3. Re: HTTP Status 404 when browses jboss-as-helloworld/HelloWorld on webpage
aquadrehz Jan 30, 2013 10:19 PM (in response to aquadrehz)I've use cmd to check and it's fine, the port was occupied by "javaw.exe" the appication of JDK
So I try to build again and input goal "jboss:start -X" which show in picture below.
(I put debugging paramether -X for expand error on debugging mode)So I suggest the problem cause from Environment Variable.
Can Anyone advise me? -
4. Re: HTTP Status 404 when browses jboss-as-helloworld/HelloWorld on webpage
aquadrehz Jan 31, 2013 2:46 AM (in response to aquadrehz)Well I figured it out today. It's quite easy but slighly tricky for newbie as me.
Sympton
When you Right click, Run As >>> Run on Server
The result is show as below. But the Admin. Page (Login to AS) is shw the service was eployed to server.
Error Detail.
The service was deployed incompletely to JBoss Application server. So when you access to the service, the Host is return message HTTP status 404 to you.
Becaues the server can't return you the particular service.
Solution
- Create Maven build by Right click, Run As >>> Build...
- Set Goals as "clean package jboss-as:deploy" and click Run and wait
- Preview project by Right click, Run As >>> Run on Server
- Done.
For more detail I advise you to chceck the Readme.txt included in example project.
