      The Google Summer of Code (GSOC) for 2013 has been announced:

      This profram was very successful for a number o JBoss porjects last year (most notably the Arquillian project).  We should brainstorm some projects that we could put forward as GSOC projects.

          Definitely.

          There are some of my suggestions:

          • chart/gauges components
          • CDK - improving build time
          • automated client-side performance testing

            Having further brainstormed ideas for GSOC projects, we've come up with the following shortlist:

            • Charts components
              • connected with CDK improvements: JSON writing support
            • Data Tables
              • js impl -> component
              • CDK improvements
            • Social media integration and compoennts
              • via the Agorava project
            • Bean Validation javascript library
              • Implement our client-side validation as a stand-alone library
            • Refactor the CDK to use APT directly, decoupling the CDK from Guice
