1. Re: Oracle error numbers in exceptions
mkent Jul 2, 2002 5:15 PM (in response to mkent)Could someone at least suggest a way around this problem? Is this related to using the Oracle JDBC drivers? Would another Oracle driver package work any differently? (i.e. Seropto?)
Is there a way to "specify" an exception depending on the type of database error that occurs? -
2. Re: Oracle error numbers in exceptions
dsundstrom Jul 2, 2002 5:42 PM (in response to mkent)I don't know of any way around this. SQL exceptions are black boxes. My new design for 4.0 will allow you to write a custom exception handler.

Is your 4.0 version "JBoss 4.0" or a 4.0 within JBoss 3.x?
