How to setup JBoss 7.1.1 / Infinispan for querying?

Hi all,

i searched the forum, but can't find a transparent solution for my problem.

I successfully set up my application in JBoss 7.1.1 with Infinispan and i've access to my cache (via @Resource.lookup) and all is working fine.

Now i want to query my caches but i can't create queries. Am i missing some libs? Lucene isn't a part of JBoss, Hibernate-search is also missing.

I was sure that JBoss 7.1.1 has a full support for querying the caches (like in standalone Infinispan). Am i wrong??

Any ideas?

I ended up in adding hibernate-search and infinispan-query to my JBoss-Modules.

My manifest looks like this:

Dependencies: org.hibernate.search.orm services, org.infinispan export, org.infinispan.query export

At startup i get now this warning:

WARN  [org.infinispan.configuration.cache.IndexingConfigurationBuilder] (ServerService Thread Pool -- 31) Indexing can only be enabled if infinispan-query.jar is available on your classpath, and this jar has not been detected. Intended behavior may not be exhibited.

It's now a valid JBoss-Module and the dependency is defined......

A call to:

SearchManager search = Search.getSearchManager(mapConditionedData);

never returns......without any errors.

I think it's still a configuration problem.  Isn't there a setup-guide around for JBoss 7.1.1?

It can't be so hard to set up a queryable infinispan here.

Any ideas?

You need something like this in your Infinispan's module.xml:
