a4j works if the xhtml is 'touch'ed

Hello,

     I am experiencing some odd behaviour in my JSF application. I have used <a4j:commandLink> component in the application (WAR in EAR) which is deployed on Websphere 8 application server.

Some times the command link in my application doesn't work at all if I deploy my application EAR on Websphere 8 at very first time (freshly). It starts working perfectly if I run 'touch' command on all the xhtml file in the deployed EAR. Can someone please help me to resolve this issue.

Are you able to re-produce this in other containers?  If not, it could be a Websphere issue, you could follow up with IBM folks to see what's going on.
