ejbLoad method is not being called in jboss2.0

Hi,
I am using JBoss-2.0 on Windows98. I have a container managed Entity bean. Whenever I call any method on my bean, the ejbLoad method is not being called so there is data inconsistency between database and bean. The ejbLoad is only being called when the bean is getting activated from the passivated state. Is it a problem with JBoss-2.0? Please help me out.

JBoss 2.0 is no longer supported (it is like 3 years old). Please upgrade to 2.4.7 or 3.0.
