JBOSS AS 7 on Kubuntu

Hello,

I am totally new to JBOSS and I want to know what to do getting started under Kubuntu. Is there any short tutorial/ introduction?

My special points was:

- getting started

- acess rights for starting under kubuntu

Could anybody help me?

Just unzip and run standalone.sh in the bin directory (make sure you have a JRE6/7 available). Since the ports are 1024+ there shouldn't be that much issues. SELinux sometimes act up but report errors here and someone will probably be able to help.
