[4.3.0.Final] built-in sorting in extendedDataTable with only one column?

Hi,

is there any way of using the built-in sorting of rich:extendedDataTable, which has been introduced with RF 4.3.0, to sort with only one column? Now this functionality seems to use some strange sorting priority mechanism, which makes it unusable IMHO. Or is there any workaround for this e.g. to reset sorting for other columns while sorting with new column?
