Building RHQ - Failure Database Utilities

Hi Developers,

   I got failure while building my own RHQ which was downloaded and edited. Here, I have attached that error. I guess, Database naming conflict is the issue. Please help me to fix this issue, and help me to built the My OWN RHQ.

   I am trying to use Postgresql 9.1.7 as a backend for my RHQ4.6.0( This is my custom RHQ which i want to built it) in my system.

   Already running my RHQServer4.5.1 with "rhqadmin" as a database role with "rhqdb" as a database. I am following my building procedure in the following article https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/RHQ/Building+RHQ

The article tells to create a "rhqadmin" as a database role for RHQ4.6.0. But, I am already having it in the RHQServer4.5.1, So I have skipped that step and built it with the command mvn -Penterprise,dev -Ddbsetup -DskipTests install. But Failed and it putting a error like in the attached image. Please help me to build my RHQ.

Your screen capture does not show the error message.

Make sure you followed this guide: https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/RHQ/PostgreSQL#PostgreSQL-PostgreSQLQuickStartInstallation

    Thanks for the tip. I have done it. But it showing one warning. And ofcourse, I dont find my RHQ at <rhq-root>/modules/enterprise/server/appserver/target/ .

    Because I dont find my target folder too.

My Warning is following :

that error is because you didn't start the build at the root level - your current directory is the core module.

As per https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/RHQ/Advanced+Build+Notes#AdvancedBuildNotes-The{{enterprise}}Profile

"The enterprise profile is very simple - all it does is enable the building of the modules/enterprise/server/appserver Maven module when building RHQ from the root module.  You get the same effect as -Penterprise if you were to change your current directory to modules/enterprise/server/appserver/ and execute mvn install."

           Again I have tried to built that. But Now, Itz putting something strange. Please help me. Why AntScript making error ? ? ? Am I have to share that antscript for your reference ? ? ?

Hi Arun,

Did you try to rebuild the RHQ fully?

If not, you can try to go to your E:\RHQ_4_6_0 and run "mvn -DskipTests -Ddbsetup-do-not-check-schema -Pdist,enterprise clean install".

This command is working well on my computer.
