jbosscmp-jdbc.xml or jaws.xml?

I am using JBoss 3.0

I read something like this:

... you switch to jbosscmp-jdbc.xml,
if you are using CMP2.0. With CMP2.0 your jaws.xml settings will be silently ignored...

Is it correct, that now to map table fields with bean fields I must use the jbosscmp-jdbc.xml , and not the jaws.xml?

where can I find information about it, since the online documentation on the jboss website is still for jboss 2.4?

The JBossCMP documentation available from flashline.com ($10) or you can use the dtd in the docs/dtd directory of the JBoss distribution.
